Amanda-era introduces a rising star of great potential. He hails from Anambra State, and is the artiste called PROFOUND.

We had a brief chat with him and this is how it went down:

AE: What’s your real name?

PROFOUND: Chukwudalu Okoli

AE: What genre of music do you do?

PROFOUND: Dancehall and hip-hop basically.

AE: Inspiration to go into music?

PROFOUND: Let’s just say it was a calling, because I knew I had the talent.

AE: Where do you gather inspiration from?

PROFOUND: Err, well from some artiste like Chris brown, Jesse Jagz and Tyga.

AE: Your number 1 Nigerian musical mentor?

PROFOUND: Jesse Jagz.

AE: Your number 1 foreign musical mentor?

PROFOUND: Tyga.

AE: How has your musical journey been so far?

PROFOUND: Awesome, I’d say I’m happy because of the amount of response I’m getting.

AE: Any challenges or regrets?

PROFOUND: None yet.

AE: What’s in the future for profound?

PROFOUND: Ha ha, great thing. I’m going to make it for sure, that’s certain.

PROFOUND: Ha ha, yes I am.
