‘Praiz’ is calling out to kind-hearted citizens to save Baby Somaya Olayinka Dahli who just had a successful surgery to close a hole in her heart but still needs money for medical care.
In his charitable appeal, Praiz tells us how we can reach out to this little girl between now and the next one month ‘From now till the end of January 2014, everyone who makes ‘oshe’ their MTN callertune by texting 19 to 4100 will be donating to Baby Somaya’s future with your 50 naira. All the proceeds will go to taking care of her. Let’s do this’.
It’s one of the rare times when a musician had used not just his influence, but his work, to build support to save the life of a baby.
Signed to X3M music, Praiz is one of Nigeria’s promising singers and pundits have said many of his colleagues could follow in his steps.
