Obasanjo Writes Another Letter, Quits PDP Activities

The season of letters hasn't ended, and it is very certain that in the next few days a reply will follow up, In this letter made available to the Nigerian Tribune, the former president, Obasanjo wrote to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, in which he gave a notice of his withdrawal from the activities of the party saying he was withdrawing from all activities of the party because the PDP had been negating the principles of morality, decency and discipline in its decisions, especially as they affect the South West where he comes from.

WEEKEND RECIPE: Chicken Yassa

Chicken Yassa is a Senegalese stew which is also known as Yassa au poulet.
The chicken is marinated with lemon and mustard for hours before it been cooked.  This sauce is popular all over West Africa, it can be found in Gambia, Guinea, Ivory coast and many other African countries.
Yassa can also be made with beef, Lamb or fish. The sauce mainly consists of onions.
Serves: 4-6
Marinating time: 2h or overnight

Alakija in a statement urged the people to ignore whatever they may have read purportedly portraying her as a governorship aspirant.

According to the statement,”It has come to my notice, that there are posters and fliers being circulated in Ikorodu and other parts of Lagos State announcing me as a Governorship aspirant.

Chris Brown Just May Be On His Way To Jail This Time

Grammy-winning R&B singer Chris Brown has rejected a plea deal in a misdemeanor assault case stemming from an altercation outside a Washington hotel, his lawyer said on Wednesday.
Brown is charged with breaking the nose of a 20-year-old Maryland man who tried to get a picture with him in October. His bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, faces the same charge.
A lawyer for Brown, Danny Onorato, told reporters the deal had been turned down because "Chris Brown's not guilty."
