2013 will definitely be a year for the Nollywood star to remember. In April, she was listed as one of the most influential people in the world by TIME Magazine, named the Queen of Nollywood by UK’s The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella Magazine, and recently awarded the Ebony Vanguard Award at the M Visa Awards in Birmingham.
She also made her way to many international star studded events including the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women and Maxim Hot 100 Party.
The traditional council of the Ondo kingdom has decided to confer the movie star a high-profile chieftaincy title in recognition of her outstanding achievements in the movie industry.
Omotola hails from Ondo state. Congrats to her.
